The
Sensorial
Event

Projects
House Studio initiates its own cultural explorative projects. Each one begins as a physical encounter between people, material and space, and is manifested as a events, publications and experiences.

Our projects bring together leading voices within a discipline to approach a single theme from multiple angles – sensory, cultural, artistic and intellectual. The encounter becomes the foundation and purpose that manifests in various forms.

CURRENT PROJECT

Our first project is now in progress, with a public released in 2027. For more information about the project, please get in touch with us.

About Us
OUR BACKGROUND

House Studio explores the desire for real encounters between people, material, and space, experienced through the human senses. Things that exist in the physical world, to be felt and remembered. Our work emerges from a curatorial discipline in the editorial space.

Launched in 2026, the studio was founded by creatives with more than a decade of practice in editorial work, creative direction, photography, and print across art, culture, and fashion. Our previous work includes collaborating with cultural institutions such as Bonnier Publishing House, the Gothenburg International Film Festival, Gothenburg Opera, and the Swedish Fashion Council, as well as publications, agencies and brands like Wallpaper, AnOther Magazine, Atelier Franck Durand, Die Zeit, Burberry, Elle UK, COS, Adidas and Nudie Jeans, among others.

CULTURAL PROJECTS

One of House Studio's founders was also co-founder of the boundary-crossing music and art collective The String Theory, and was repsonsible for curating the participant roster, the visual direction and brand communication. The Swedish-German collaboration was active for more than a decade, received several cultural grants, established local and international partnerships and resulted in numerous public performances. Between 2009 and 2020, the project brought together artists, composers and musicians from Gothenburg, Berlin and Los Angeles in workshops and recording sessions where shared works were created, with support from institutions such as Region Västra Götaland and Göteborg & Co in Sweden, and Goethe-Institut in Germany.

The project was documented by Sveriges Radio and ARTE, among others. The collective went on to tour Europe and North America with artists including José González. One of the collective's albums, Sekou Andrews & The String Theory, was nominated for a Grammy. This experience of collaboration across national and disciplinary borders forms a direct foundation for upcoming cultural projects.

House Studio is based in Berlin and Gothenburg, working worldwide.
